Altered Wooden Hanging Sign

This is an altered wooden hanging sign that I have made for someone. I used a 3×4 wood sign that I purchased from Joannes. First I covered it with paper on both sides and painted the edges with off white acylic paint. Then I added some shabby Chic style embellishments. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Thanks for stopping by!

    RAK from Kristal Norton

How cute is this! I received this super cute notebook the other day from Kristal and I was so surprised! She is so sweet and thoughtful to have made this just for me. It is totally my style and I love it.
Kristal is a super talented artist who has a great inspirational website. Check her out at kristalnorton.com. She has a store there too with great crafting goodies like German glass glitter and craft patterns. Soon she will be offering handmade journals like the one she sent to me. She is also full of amazing ideas on how to keep your creative juices flowing and what to do when you lose them. She has been such an inspiration to me. Be sure and stop by and check her out.

Project I made for Simon Says Stamp & Show

"God Bless the Child" by Billie Holiday

This is an altered bingo card that I made for the Simon Says Stamp & Show Challenge. The challenge was to make something with a song title as your inspiration. The song that I choose was “God Bless the Child” by Billie Holiday. I often listen to Billie Holiday while creating so it was an easy pick. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!
